STERLING BROWN -- Proviso East
 

A three-time All West Suburban Conference pick (2011, 2012, 2013), Brown led to Pirates to the 2012 IHSA state championship game.  At Southern Methodist University, Sterling averaged 13.4 points per game for the Mustangs during his senior year for a team that won 30 games and captured the American Athletic Conference championship.  Brown finished as the school's all-time leader in wins at SMU.  Sterling was drafted in the second round of the 2017 NBA Draft by the Philadelphia 76ers, who traded their draft rights to the Milwaukee Bucks.  From 2017 through 2023 Sterling played with the Bucks, the Houston Rockets, Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Lakers.
