The Illinois Gatorade
Football Player of the Year in 2008, Watt was a high school All-American,
making both the USA Today and Parade Magazine teams as an offensive lineman.
Chris was named the West Suburban Conference Silver Division Most Valuable
Player, recording 225 pancake blocks in his junior and senior seasons.
Watt was a three-starter in college while at the University of Notre Dame,
starting 34 straight games for the Fighting Irish. Chris was selected
in the third round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers.
Watt played for the Chargers for three seasons, starting 23 NFL contests.
Watt returned to the Notre Dame sidelines as an assistant coach, and served
as an offensive line coach for the Indianapolis Colts. |
