ROBERT COVINGTON -- Proviso West
 

The West Suburban Conference Player of the Year in 2009, Covington averaged 18 points and 11 rebounds per game, leading the Panthers to the WSC Silver Division basketball title.  At Tennessee State University, Robert earned All-Ohio Valley Conference honors three years, and averaged 14.8 points per game over a four-year career. After going unselected in the 2013 NBA Draft, Covington played with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the NBA Development League, was chosen as the D-League's Rookie of the Year; and the Most Valuable Player of the 2014 D-League All-Star Game, where he scored a record 33 points.  Robert played in the NBA with five teams over a ten-year period as a member of the Houston Rockets, Philadelphia 76ers, Minnesota Timberwolves, Portland Trailblazers and Los Angeles Clippers.  Through the 2022-2023 season, Covington played in over 600 games and averaged 11.1 points per contest.  Covington was named to the First Team of the All-NBA Defensive Team in 2018.
