ARIELLE WILSON -- Proviso East |
||||||||||||||
An All-State volleyball
selection for the Pirates in 2007, Wilson was a four-year varsity starter.
Arielle went on to Penn State University where she would enjoy one of the
most successful careers of any player in school history. Wilson was a
three-time collegiate All-American and was a part of four straight NCAA
national championships. During that stretch, the Nittany Lions would
win a NCAA record 109 consecutive matches. Arielle ranked fourth in
school history with 572 block assists and fifth in career solo blocks with
633. In 2009 Wilson's .540 hitting percentage established a new NCAA
Division I record. Wilson played professionally overseas for five
seasons, and coached at the collegiate level at De Paul, Michigan State,
Georgia Tech and Missouri. |
