ERIN HOIS -- Downers Grove South |

A three-time badminton
state champion, Hois never lost a set over her high school career in
Illinois High School Association state finals competition, and was
undefeated in match play in her entire high school career. Erin won
IHSA singles titles in 1998, 2000 and 2001. Hois elected to sit out
her sophomore year from high school competition, while training with the
Junior National Team in 1999. In her three years at the state meet,
Erin won 18 straight sets; outscored her opponents 396-36; and outpointed
her six foes in her senior year by a score of 132-4. Hois was a member
of the USA National Team and won six Junior National titles.
