ERNIE VATCH -- Addison-Trail |

|
A two-time undefeated
state champion wrestler, Vatch won individual titles in 1979 and 1980.
Ernie won the 155-pound weight class as a junior, and was crowned champion
as a senior competing at 167-pounds. The Blazers also won the Illinois
High School Association team wrestling championship in both 1979 and 1980.
Vatch compiled a win-loss record of 37-0-1 as a junior, and 38-0 as a
senior. Vatch would later wrestle at Northern Illinois University,
where he captured the Mid-American Conference championship at the 167 weight
class in 1983.
