A 14-time All-State
selection, Enke won seven individual state championships at the IHSA Boys
Gymnastics meets from 2002-2004. Jason was the 2003 & 2004 state champ
in the high bar; the 2003 state champion in the floor exercise; the 2003
state champion in the pommel horse; the 2004 vault state champ; and the 2004
parallel bars state champion. Enke finished in the runner-up position
in all-around competition at the both the 2003 and 2004 state meets.
Jason also placed in the all-around (6th) and high bar (3rd) as a sophomore;
the vault (3rd) as a junior; and the floor exercise (2nd) and pommel horse
(2nd) as a senior. Enke's 9.85 score in the high bar at the 2004 state
meet was the second highest score ever in state meet history. |
