A Chicagoland All-Area
selection in basketball in 1987, Mueller led the West Suburban Conference
Gold Division in scoring (23.8 points per game) and rebounding (15.0).
Kit would play college ball at Princeton University where he earned first
team All-Ivy League recognition three times, and was the Ivy league Player
of the Year in 1990 and 1991. Mueller was also a two-time Academic
All-American. Kit finished as the second all-time leading scorer in
Tigers history -- behind Basketball Hall of Famer Bill Bradley -- with 1,546
