A 1996 Parade Magazine
All-American, Leonhardt averaged 24.5 points and 13 rebounds in her senior
year, and was the Trojans all-time leading career scorer with 2,001 points.
Casey played her freshman year in college at the University of Illinois,
where she set the Big Ten Tournament record for blocked shots in 1997.
After transferring to the University of Nebraska, Leonhardt averaged 12.6
points and 6.9 rebounds for the Cornhuskers in her senior season
(2000-2001). In her four-year college career, Casey scored 1,104
points, pulled down 688 rebounds and blocked 176 shots. Leonhardt
played for the Chicago Blaze in the National Women's Basketball League in
its inaugural 2002 season. |
