AUGIE BLOOM -- Hinsdale Central |
||||||||||||||
|
Bloom was a four-time
all-conference and a four-time all-state singles tennis player during his
high school career. Augie finished fourth, third, fifth and seventh in
the IHSA state meet singles championships from 2007-2010. Bloom won
three consecutive West Suburban Conference singles titles, becoming the
first person to do so since 1978, and only the third person ever to
accomplish three WSC singles championships. Augie compiled an
impressive 100-12 win-loss record over his four-year prep career.
Bloom played tennis at Princeton University for four years and was named to
the second team All-Ivy League. |
