NANCY RENO -- Glenbard West |

A
three-sport athlete for the Hilltoppers, Reno excelled in volleyball,
basketball and softball in high school. Nancy played volleyball at
Stanford University where she earned Athletic and Academic All-American
honors. After being cut from the indoor national volleyball team, Reno
began competing on the professional beach circuit, where she won 28 events
in the two-person team sport. Nancy secured a win at the 1992 Olympic
Games -- where beach volleyball was a demonstration sport. Reno
finished fifth at the 1996 Olympic Games and captured a bronze medal at the
1997 World Championships. |
