||||||||||||||
Excelling at every level of play on the diamond, Tyler was an All-State softball player in high school, a collegiate Hall of Famer, and a gold medal winning Olympian. Playing for the Huskies in 1992, Dani became only the second player in state softball history to collect 11 consecutive hits over 11 at-bats. At Drake University, Tyler was a three-time Missouri Valley All-Conference selection, leading the Bulldogs to two championship titles, while setting 17 different school and conference records. Dani was the first softball player ever inducted into the Missouri Valley Conference Hall of Fame in 2018. Tyler helped lead the U.S. National Team to a gold medal in the 1996 Olympic Games, playing third base.
