TOM KONDLA -- Riverside-Brookfield |

A two-time All-West
Suburban Conference pick in 1963 and 1964, Kondla was named to the 1964
All-State Basketball Team. Tom set school records for the Bulldogs for
career rebounds (814) and single-game rebounds (32). Attending the
University of Minnesota, Kondla earned All-Big Ten and All-American honors
in 1967, where he averaged 24.9 points per game -- the second highest mark
in Golden Gophers history. Kondla was drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks
in the 1968 NBA Draft, and played one year professionally with the Houston
Mavericks and the Minneapolis Pipers of the American Basketball Association. |
