CARISSA NIEMANN -- Hinsdale South |
||||||||||||||
A two-time state badminton
champion, Niemann compiled a perfect 76-0 singles record during her junior
and senior years. In 2002 Carissa won the IHSA badminton singles title
with a record of 45-0. One year later Niemann was a repeat state
champion, finishing the 2003 season with 31 straight match victories.
During her impressive two-year stint, Carissa never lost a set, let alone a
match. Niemann would go into coaching and win a badminton team state
championship at Hinsdale Central in 2008. |
