SAM BRODNER -- Glenbard West |

Brodner led the
Hilltoppers to a perfect 14-0 season and a Class 7A State Championship in
2015. Sam rushed for 264 yards and four touchdowns in Glenbard West's
34-28 victory over previously unbeaten Libertyville in the state title game.
Brodner established the all-time West Suburban Conference record for scoring
with 284 points during the 2015 season, tallying 47 touchdowns in 14 games.
Sam finished his senior season with 1,917 rushing yards. In his junior
year, Brodner set the WSC single season rushing mark of 1,958 games in 13
games, and scored 28 touchdowns. Sam was named West Suburban
Conference Silver Division Offensive MVP in both 2014 and 2015, and was
selected as the Gatorade Player of the Year in 2015. Brodner attended
Wisconsin on a football scholarship, but was unable to play due to a knee
injury. |
