DAVID EDWARDS -- Downers Grove North
 

A three-year varsity option quarterback for the Trojans, Edwards was recruited as a tight end by the University of Wisconsin.  Standing six-foot, seven-inches tall, David gained more than 50 pounds while playing for the Badgers and was moved to right tackle on the offensive line.  Edwards thrived at that position and received All-Big Ten honors in 2017 and 2018, in addition to being named a first team All-American.  David was selected in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Rams.  Through the start of the 2023 season, Edwards has started 45 games for the Rams and was the starting left guard in Super Bowl LVI  -- where the Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20.
