STEVE BUSA -- Proviso West
 

A former high school athlete at Proviso West, Busa returned his alma mater to work athletic events for nearly half a century.  Steve could be found as a staple at the West Suburban Conference track meets as the Clerk of the Course, a position he has performed for over 50 WSC championships.  Busa has been the Hillside school's timer for basketball, football, wrestling and soccer contests for five decades.  Steve has been an IHSA licensed athletic official for 46 years, and has been a Park District Commissioner for 40 years.  For his service to the sport, Busa was inducted into the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2015 as a Friend of Basketball.
