RICK HIBBERT -- Pioneer Press

The sports editor for both the Suburban Life Newspapers and the Pioneer Press News Group, Hibbert headed various hometown publications that covered nearly every West Suburban Conference school for more than twenty years.  From 1981 through 2012, Rick served as reporter and editor for nearly twenty suburban local newspapers that provided in-depth coverage of high school sports teams and athletes throughout the western suburbs.  These weekly and semi-weekly publications allowed a constant connection between the community and the athletic programs of their neighborhood school.
