PAUL HOEL -- Hinsdale South
 

The winner of seven West Suburban Conference titles, Hoel won over 500 baseball games at two WSC schools.  Coaching one year at York, Hoel led the Dukes to a 28-12 record in 1994.  Moving on to Hinsdale South, Paul coached the Hornets from 1995-2005 and again from 2012-2022.  Hoel attained WSC titles in 1998, 2001, 2005, 2012, 2013, 2016 and 2018; and won regional titles on five occasions (1997, 1998, 1999, 2003, 2004).  Paul's 30-7 team in 2004 won the school's second sectional championship and set the school record for victories.  Hoel finished his two-school varsity coaching career with 506 career wins, and was inducted into the Illinois High School Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2014.
