CAROL BOBO -- Hinsdale Central

A 21-year head girls swimming coach, Bobo won six IHSA state team titles and 17 West Suburban Conference championships.  Carol was the Red Devils coach from 1979-2000, where she captured Illinois High School Association championships in 1979, 1980, 1990, 1991, 1992 and 1993.  Bobo's team were state runners-up in 1981, 1982 and 1989; and finished third in the state finals in 1985.  Carol was chosen as the Illinois Swimming Association Coach of the Year nine times, and was elected into the Illinois Swimming Association Hall of Fame in 2011.
