STEPHEN ORACKO -- Downers Grove North |

As Athletic Director at Downers Grove North for 21 years, Oracko served in that position from 1963 through 1984. Fourteen new Trojans sports programs were introduced under Steve's leadership including boys soccer, swimming and gymnastics; and girls swimming, golf, cross-country, gymnastics, bowling, track, badminton, tennis, volleyball, softball and basketball. Oracko was one of the original founders of the Illinois Athletic Directors Association, and served as its Secretary-Treasurer when the group organized in 1965. Oracko was a charter member inductee of the Downers Grove North Hall of Fame in 1994; as well as a charter member inductee of the Illinois Athletic Directors Association Hall of Fame in 1996.
