JAY KRAMER -- Hinsdale Central
 

A winner of 16 Illinois High School Association state championship and 37 West Suburban Conference titles, Kramer is easily considered as the greatest high school tennis coach in Illinois history.  On the courts, Jay's teams won nine consecutive IHSA state titles from 1972-1980, to go with state championships in 1966, 1968, 1990, 1991, 2007, 2008 and 2009.  Kramer won 25 IHSA Sectional titles and 14 IHSA District titles during his 44-year coaching career.  During his tenure, the Red Devils won a mind-boggling 37 conference championship from 1965-1969, 1971-1980, 1983-1997 and 1999-2005.  Jay was the founder and President of the Illinois High School Tennis Association, who inducted him into their Hall of Fame in 1986.
