CHRISTINE GIUNTA-MAYER -- Glenbard West
 

Coaching five state title teams in the last eight years, Giunta-Mayer has developed a boys volleyball dynasty at the Illinois High School Association state championships.  The Hilltoppers won state titles in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2022 and 2023, and have finished in either first, second or third place at every state final that was conducted from 2014-2023.  Giunta-Mayer's teams have won ten West Suburban Conference championships (2012, 2014-2019, 2021-2023), and posted an eye-popping 123-3 record over a three-year period from 2014-2016.  Giunta-Mayer was named Volleyball Magazine Coach of the Year in 2017 and 2023; awarded the Max Preps Coach of the Year in 2022; and recognized as the Illinois Volleyball Coaches Association Coach of the Year in 2023.
