FRED DENNIS -- Addison-Trail

Winning ten team gymnastics state championships prior to Addison-Trail's entry into the West Suburban Conference in 1986, Dennis continued his winning ways as a member of the of the conference, capturing nine WSC championships and one more IHSA state title.  Fred won Gold Division conference championships for boys in 1989, 1993, 1996, 1997, 2002 and 2003; and won girls WSC titles in 1987, 1988 and 1990. Addison-Trail's  1991 girls gymnastics team won the Illinois High School Association championship, the first team from the West Suburban Conference to accomplish that feat.  In 1999, Dennis became the first individual to be inducted into both the boys and girls Illinois Gymnastics Coaches Association Halls of Fame.
