|
As boys track coach at York, Reddel won 21 West Suburban Conference championships and captured a pair of Illinois High School Association state track titles. During his fifteen years as head coach, Stan's teams won twelve outdoor and nine indoor WSC Silver track titles. Reddel took home a trophy from the IHSA state track meet eight times -- winning the 2009 and 2014 IHSA state track meets; finishing in second place five times (2001, 2005, 2008, 2010, 2011); and having one third place showing (2006). The Dukes won nine IHSA sectional track championships in 2001-2003, 2005-2009 and 2015. Reddel was inducted into the Illinois Track and Cross Country Coaches Hall of Fame in 2010.
