MATT THOMPSON -- Addison-Trail |

Serving the Blazers as
Athletic Director for 19 years, Thompson also was the school's head
basketball coach. Matt coached the Addison-Trail boys hoops team from
1997 through 2003. Thompson was Athletic Director from 2004 until
2023. Thompson's length of service as an Athletic Director is tied for
the fifth longest tenure in West Suburban Conference history. Only Harvey
Dickinson (Hinsdale Central, 38 years); Chuck Bennett (Lyons Township, 27 years); Tim Feigh (Morton-York-Hinsdale
South, 24 years); and Steve Oracko (Downers Grove
North, 22 years) have remained in the position longer. |
